PARENTS.

 

Our youth ministry provides a platform to support parents in the pastoring of their children. We affectionately call this "home church."

Sundays at 10:30am

Ages 9 months to 2nd grade

The very young learn about God through our Baby Bible program. Older children learn God's Word through our King's Kids program. Partnering with parents who attend Christ Our King Church, our Children’s Church ministry allows parents to focus on the word being shared while their children are also learning about the Bible on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. 

 

GRACE Dance

Mondays at 4:30pm

This dance team, for girls in kindergarten through fifth grade, focuses on preparing a heart of a worshipper in young girls. This ministry, like all of them here at Christ Our King is to help assist the parent in their role of teaching their child how to worship by example in the home.

 

Heiress

For girls in 6th grade through 12th grade, Heiress is designed to help parents mentor their daughters to a place of spiritual maturity. This ministry relies on group leaders who help uplift their group members on a weekly basis and who serve as chaperones for various group outings. These have included trips to Cedar Point, horseback riding, and serving community members around the county.

 

Higher Calling (High-C)

Sundays at 6:00pm

On Sunday evenings during the school year, children in 2nd grade through 12th grade meet in our King’s Court with others their age.  The youth study the Bible, fellowship with one another, enjoy food, and have lots of fun. 

 

Y.E.S.

Youth Empowered Summer

This is a youth-centered ministry that involves young people who are in 7th grade through 12th grade. This is a time to both fellowship with others, as well as take time to worship and learn more about God and the empowerment that comes from Him through prayer, worship, and teaching. Activities that Y.E.S. have participated in include canoeing, zip lining, and at our most recent kick-off party, an obstacle course not for the faint of heart.
